How Holder Rewards Work
Earn a cut of trading fees just by holding tokens. How it works and how to claim.
How Holder Rewards Work
Every trade on a Spawned token has a 0.30% fee. Part of that fee goes to token holders. The more tokens you hold, the bigger your share.
The Math
If you hold 1% of a token's supply and $10,000 in trading volume happens, you earn:
$10,000 × 0.30% × your_share = $30 × 1% = $0.30
Over time, active tokens generate meaningful rewards.
Becoming Eligible
You're eligible immediately when you buy. No staking, no lockup, no minimum hold period. Just holding the token in your wallet qualifies you.
Claiming Rewards
Rewards accumulate as trading happens. To claim:
- Go to the token page
- See your unclaimed rewards
- Click Claim
- Approve the transaction
Rewards are paid in SOL.
Reward Accumulation
The contract uses an "accumulator" pattern:
- Each trade adds fees to a pool
- Your share is calculated based on your balance at claim time
- Claiming resets your personal counter
You don't miss rewards by waiting to claim, but claiming regularly lets you reinvest.
What Affects Reward Size
Trading volume - More trading = more fees = more rewards
Your share - Bigger holdings = bigger share of rewards
Time - Holding longer = more accumulation
Strategy Considerations
Active tokens pay more. A token with high trading volume generates more rewards than a dormant one.
Holding has opportunity cost. Rewards might not compensate for potential losses if price drops.
Gas costs matter. Claiming has a transaction fee. Batch claims for small rewards.
Post-Graduation
Rewards continue after graduation to Raydium. The mechanism changes slightly (transfer fees vs trading fees), but holders still earn.
